The International Skating Federation stated that considering the development of the epidemic and the impact on event organizers and participants, it has decided to postpone the figure skating grand prix finals originally scheduled to be held in Beijing from December 10th to 13th, and from December 11th to 13th. The short track speed skating World Cup Seoul Station and the short track speed skating World Cup Beijing Station from December 18th to 20th. Among them, the two events held in Beijing are both test events for the Beijing Winter Olympics.
In this regard, the ISU stated that some potential teams have raised some questions, such as the isolation of participants when they return to their country, the end of the year holiday and the scheduling of other competitions, which may affect the number of participants.
